« on: April 25, 2010, 04:25:53 PM »
Hello fellow empire generals.

Having collected empire for several years and Not been able to post up my stuff.

I have finally made the effort to get some pictures and stuff so here we go.
My army so far consists off....
Characters - 1 Knight Grandmaster, 1 General of the empire, 2 Captains, 1 Wizard lord on Pegasus, 3 Warriors priests, 5 Battle wizards, 1 Engineer

Cores -  35 swordsmen, 25 spearmen 45 halberdiers, 20 handgunners, 20 crossbowmen, 15 archers, 20 free company

Specials - 20 Greatswords, 2 Great cannons, 2 Mortars, 5 Outriders, 5 Pistoliers,

Rares - 1 helstorm, 1 Hellblaster, 4 Iron-guts ogres allies, 25 Flagellants

Thats my whole army so far, I do however have spare 20 handgunners/xbowmen.

Ill post some fluff up for my army at a later date but heres a few pictures of my stuff so far.
Warrior Priest

(Back)

Grandmaster Riker Orestus of The Knight Panthers.
(Front)

(Sides)

First unit of 10 X-bowmen (Excuse the terrible pictures ill try take some better ones)

These guys are almost finished just need bases painted/flocked and Some inking for there armour and weapons.

Then i had a idea of doing a unit filler for my swordsmen in from of a ogre which i have seen a good few times being done so here my take on him so far.

Still early work on him with some armour and State trooper cloth and A chest plate. I am still deciding him heads fate so please throw any suggestions and stuff thanks.

Well thats me for now, I have abit of a deadline to i have around till 5th of June this year to get at least 2250pts of empire finished so time to get working hard.

I will post some more work later on in a day or 2.
Cheers and stay tuned.

Seeing your deadline being so short to get all that painted I wish you luck, and won't call out some pointers yet.

First get it table ready then we will talk about how to improve your paining :)

Love to see another Nordlander that I can sometimes go and rescue!

Hey and thanks StealthKnightSteg for wishing me luck i am on a very buzy few weeks but still do feel free to comment on my paint :D.

So i bring some more....finished my swordsman ogre.

I took those photos last week and Managed to get some w.i.p painting done on him.

Made some pistoliers i hope to take next month for my tourney i didnt bother taking pictures of the normal ones but here the champion which is more unique.

Since the 10 crossbowmen were  terrible i gave them a make over so have a look and Better photos to!.

I went abit mad this month and Bought more stuff 20 new greatswords, new empire army book since i've lost my current one :/ AND to top it off.....

I would like any tips or whatever to help me improvement my painting would be much appreciated.
Thanks and Long live the Empire!

Your green stuff work is awesome.

As far as your painting, I would ask you are you going for a rough blamblam thank you mam? or are your trying to make them look really good? If your trying to make them look great I would suggest Highlighting and using additional colors and less paint. Gets some washes aswell that will help you! Maybe try doing some drybrush work?

Good luck, I would love to see more conversions from you.
