I find that a great way to improve the quality of a paint job is to simply go over after you think you're done, and complete the model with touch-ups. For example, the middle-man of your volley gun. He looks fine overall, but, when the eye heads for detail, things such as the *staff* he's holding really stand out. You'll notice that some of the darker paint has spilled onto the staff itself. While this happens to all of us, it is easily amended with a slight touch-up of the original color.
While this is very simple, it helps tremendously.
Also, I assume that you have not used washes on your model. Washing is a superb way to rapidly add quality to your model. If you don't have any, simply paint a slightly darker color beneath your main color.
Otherwise, the pictures look very nice. Keep it up!
