« on: October 13, 2009, 11:46:55 AM »
Finally got my grubby hands on my 1st set of handgunners through a trade.

Will be painting up most of the on foot guys in City of Nuln colours... knights will be done up in something else... will decide when I recieve them.

Only had time to do one handgunner today.

More will come later  :-D

Classy, I kind of like the red, it looks like it's smudged with gunpowder and general Nulnish dirt...

This will look great and very fluffy about a Nuln army.

Cheers for the comments and insight guys!

Here is 4 more handgunners to rank up. Need to wait for the rest of my Empire army to be shipped to me before I start cranking them out for a tournament next month.

hadn't have much time to really go mad with painting my Empire army...

I have another 5 handgunners basecoated.

I have a double teams tournament (1 newbie + 1 vet player tag teams) this weekend and my army isn't all assembled yet.

Banged up an Empire Captain (that will also be used as a General in future). Most of the model is stock, but I swapped in some parts from spare Bretonnian stuff I have lying around.

That bronze armour works really well with the red and black. I am interested to see how that turns out on more armoured soldiers.

Cheers Valetus!

Due to my daftness, i forgot to magnetize the weapon arm of the General and went back to get it done...

This plog probably won't get an update till mid December as I'm tied up other jobs.

So till then ;-)

Been working on some more hero models for the army...

Decided to use the General above as my Arch Lector on Warhorse xD

Here is a WIP Mounted Warrior Priest:

and a Captain BSB:

My honour.

It is insulted.

Nice painting Dezzo, can't wait to see the priest done up though!
I thought he should act responsibly and just kill himself.

I'm glad to see you chucked the ridiculously oversized sword on the BSB and put a more decent one on there.

Cheers y'all! xD

And uh no... that wasn't a monkey face but the resemblance is rather uncanny...

Bashed up another unit of 5 handgunners.

I have yet to sculpt the cloaks onto the Warrior Priest... will get to it when I can.

i took better pictures... the earlier pictures were taken with a different camera that behaved difficultly.

the metal is airbrushed with vallejo's mithril silver. it is then inked with the airbrush with vallejo black ink dilluted 50:50 with water.
