On Horse Hatred

  Since GW FAQ clarified the issue of hatred (applying to horses just as frenzy applies to horses) I ran into an interesting situation yesterday.  I had a mounted BSB and a warrior priest in a unit of swordsmen.  Does the mounted BSB get hatred for his horse?  Or is the horse a special horse not easily swayed by speaches from a priest just like its rider is.  Or would the horse be like other horses and be inspired to hate the enemy.

I think it`s a silly rule in the first place. But I would guess the BSB`s horse is not effected by hatred either.

I agree with Victor.  I think that it's the rider's hatred that would spur on the mount.

the horse wouldn't be affected as a cavalry mount and character are considered a single model, asn characters are not affected by warrior priests. Griffons and pegasi however are seperate models and are not characters :) I wonder...... 4 S5 attacks that reroll misses, that would be good :)

If you had the possibility to get the priest and the griffin into one unit. Characters on flying mounts can't join units (BRB p.72).

What did you say? 4 S5 attacks with reroll to hit?  :-o

Well now that we have Rhinox Riders just attach a friendly neighborhood Priest on Horseback and have him inspire not only the Ogres into hatred but make those Rhinos start foaming at the mouth with hatred :-)  What could be wosre than a Rhino the size of a steam tank REALLY REALLY REALLY hating you :-)
